In Loving Memory of Brian Lester Stokes
Born on January 25, 1961, in Richmond, California, Brian Lester Stokes brought joy and love into the lives of all who knew him. He was the beloved son of Richard James Stokes and June Rochelle (Smith) Stokes.
Brian's life took a beautiful turn when he met his sweetheart, Debbie Ann Luke, on a blind date. They were married on June 8, 1979 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple the following year. They were blessed with four wonderful children: Brian James Stokes, Brooke Rochelle Stokes, Brady Scott Stokes, and Ashley Ann Stokes. In addition to his spiritual leadership, Brian made a significant impact on his community. He was one of the founding fathers for The Town of Bear River. He served as a councilman and the Mayor of Bear River and was known for his entrepreneurial spirit. Brian started Westar Printing and later ventured into the creation of Rocky Mtn Sign. His passion and hard work were evident in every endeavor he pursued.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian was a shining example of compassion and generosity. He selflessly offered what he had to those less fortunate and dedicated his time to supporting friends, family, and anyone in need. His love and care knew no bounds.
Above all else, Brian cherished his role as a loving father and spouse. He instilled the values of hard work, humor and determination in his children and led by example. With a great sense of humor, he brought laughter and joy into their lives. Brian's heart swelled with love as he played with his grandchildren, creating memories that will forever be cherished.
