On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Brandon Wesley Brown, loving husband and father of two, passed away at age fifty. An avid learner, Brandon earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and spent eight years as a Project Manager before becoming disabled.
Brandon met his sweetheart, Lorelei, in the Young Single Adults ward when he came home from Ricks College and she came home from Brigham Young University. Their love was quick and lasting, getting married within six weeks of meeting. They moved three days later to Utah and both finished their education. Five years later, they welcomed Bryan Brown, Brandon’s mini-me, in Provo, Utah. Brandon’s career sent them to Colorado, where they were foster parents, eventually adopting Jayden at six years old. In an effort to be closer to his wife’s side of the family, they moved to Wyoming. In the ten years of living in Wyoming, Brandon became disabled, eventually becoming paralyzed with a degenerative disease that took him from a paraplegic to a quadriplegic. On Sunday, he suffered a suspected stroke and slipped into sleep. Tuesday, he walked into his Heavenly Father’s arms.
Brandon was especially passionate about and loved to complete remodeling projects. In addition to remodeling our three homes, he taught his sons how to remodel and completed many “projects” as they grew up. He also loved to watch documentaries and could quote all that he learned. Having a photographic memory sure helped his learning.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Lorelei, and their sons, Bryan, and Jayden as well as his mother, Dixie Lish, sister, Whisper Haney and many in-laws, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Brown, mother-in-law, Christine Dayberry, and grandparents, Byron Brown, Tressie Brown, Norman and Beth Lish.
Memorial services will be held at the Lyman LDS church building on Monday at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate here to help pay for his funeral expenses.
