Bradford Hoyt

April 9, 1961 — April 4, 2016

Bradford Neal Hoyt, 54, was called home to the Lord on April 4, 2016. Brad was born in Riverton, Wyoming but grew up in the coastal wine country of Santa Rosa, CA. After graduating from Montgomery High School, he pursued a welding career. Following in his father’s footsteps, Brad became a talented and well-known pipeline welder. He traveled far and wide – from Alaska to Nebraska and Montana to Texas. He was also very gifted in metal sculpture and landscaping. He loved animals, often rescuing abandoned or injured animals. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a knack for excelling at most things he tried. Brad was extremely generous, very kind hearted and always had a funny story to tell. He dearly loved his family and friends, and will be missed by many.

Brad is survived by brothers William Hoyt and Michael Schlicht of Cotati, CA and David Hoyt of Lander, WY; sisters Vicki Neese of Cotati, CA and Barbara West of Greenville, SC; nieces and nephews Billie Jo, Suzanne, Joseph, Wendy, Lexy, Jacob and Noah; and many cousins.

Brad is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Hoyt, and mother, Dorothy Scott. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY. Memorial services are planned in late May 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA (contact sister, Barbara West for further information).
