Bonnie Lou (Peels) Taylor passed away in her home in Mountain View on December 9, 2024.
Bonnie Lou was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee on October 29, 1951 to Inez (Evans) Peels and William Harse Peels.
She married her high school sweetheart, Steven T. Aston in November 1968 and to this marraige was born a daughter, Amber Kae Aston. They later divorced.
Bonnie Lou graduated from nursing school as an LPN in 1972 and cared for many people during her 40 plus years as a nurse.
She enjoyed Barrel racing and was crowned Rodeo Queen at the age of 25.
Bonnie Lou married Ronald Carey Taylor in 1979 and to this marriage was born a son, Birch William Taylor and a daughter, Desiree Taylor. They later divorced.
She met the love of her life, Marc Durant and with him came Matt and Angie who she also loved as her own. They had 27 years together.
Bonnie Lou loved gardening, canning, cooking, sewing, the outdoors, horses, flowers, music and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Inez and William and her niece Brianna Sohn.
Bonnie Lou is survived by her children, Amber (Mark), Birch (Lexi) and Desiree; her grandchildren Bonnita (Carlos), Brandi (Victor), Sarah (Martin), Lucas, Seth (Brinley), Carson, Madilyn and Riggs; her great grandchildren David, Mayra, Marcos, Raygan, Bailey, Christina, Nayeli, Ezilee, Everleigh, Kinsley and Corbin; her siblings Darlene, Edna, Shelia and Harold Dean and many nieces and nephews.
