Bonnie Jean Flugel passed away April 7, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born May 26, 1934, in Bussey, Iowa, to Herschel and Eunice Eddleman. She was the second youngest of five children.
Bonnie married Gerald (Jerry) Royce Flugel in Colville, Washington on January 13, 1951. Bonnie and Jerry raised four wonderful children (Jimmy, Nancy, Chick, & Diane) in the wilds of western Wyoming. She was also known for making some deadeye shots on deer and elk from the house and her oil paintings of wildlife and landscapes.
Bonnie is survived by her children Nancy (Jim) Schmid of LaBarge, WY, and Diane (Roger) Goodman of Fort Bridger, WY, along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons (Chick & Jimmy), and siblings (Maxine, Wilma, Leah, Kenneth & Geraldine).
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 12, 2024, the Fort Bridger, WY, cemetery.
