Blue Stone

Blue Stone, 43, made his final ride here on earth on March 13, 2022. Blue was born May 26, 1978 in Ogden, Utah.

Blue found his love for bull riding at a young age and went on to prove he was the best, winning back-to-back PRCA World Championships in 2001 and 2002, as well a gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Aside from living life in the arena Blue could often be found on horseback working cattle or hunting with the boys. Blue was a legendary hero and mentor that will never be forgotten.

Blue is survived by his wife; Lynsi and six children; Rowdy, Riley, Waycee, Korbon, Ashton and Taygon. Brothers; Dusty Stone and Justin (Cassie) Gibson, sisters; Shelly Gibson and Tammy (Travis) Myers as well as step-father Lawrence Gibson.

Preceded in death by his mother; Sheila Gibson, Grandparents; Bud and Verena Willard, Uncles; Jim Willard, Scott Willard, Mont Willard, Frank Southwick and father-in-law Steven Georgi.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at the Red Barn 4300 N SR 32 Oakley, Utah.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  at the Red Barn.
