Blaine C Gines
Blaine C Gines, 89, passed away on April 13, 2017 in Morgan, Utah.
He was born on August 2, 1927 in Woodland, Utah to Clifton and Francis Ellen (Chamberlain) Gines.
On April 20, 1947 he married Emma LuWauna Murdock in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 6, 1969 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LuWauna preceded him in death on November 13, 2000.
Blaine attended South Summit High School and then began a long career in trucking. He loved to spend time with his family camping, fishing and hunting, and traveling. He enjoyed woodworking and working outside in his yard. He was a member of the Kamas Sr. Citizens and had many friends there. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling with them. He also enjoyed swimming at the Kamas Aquatic Center.
He is survived by his children: Max (Lynda) Gines, of Morgan; Kimba McMillan of Bountiful; and Mike (Laurell) Gines of Clinton; 27 grandchildren and 80 great grandchildren. A brother, Kenneth (Brenda) White of Cedar City; Sister-in-laws: Betty Gines of Kamas; and Connie Gines of Morgan; and Brother-in-law, Doral Perkes of St. George.
He is preceded in death by his wife: LuWauna; a daughter, Gayle; two granddaughters, Stephanie & April; son-in-law Courtney McMillan; three brothers: Max, Lee, and Jimmy Gines; and three sisters: Mona Leavitt; June Jones; and Jeanette Perkes.

Funeral service will be on Monday April 24, 2017 at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Church, 100 West Center Street. Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery.
