Beryl Jean Kihlstrom Lefler, passed away peacefully in Taylorsville, Utah, on November 11,2024, at the age of 91. Born on August 24, 1933, in Ogden, Utah, to Harold Eugene and Wanda May Wilbur Kihlstrom.  She lived a life rich with purpose, devotion, and a deep love for her family.

Beryl was very proud to have dedicated numerous years of her professional life as a student services administrator, retiring from the University of Utah.

She had a natural flair for gardening and was a spirited supporter of the University of Utah football team.  Those fortunate enough to spend time with Beryl often enjoyed listening to her share stories. We will never forget her love for singing and creating her own musical numbers like the famous "Tanner Park" song her grandchildren grew up singing along to.

Beryl was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served selflessly and completed a Stake Mission.  Additionally, she enjoyed being a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by her son, Brian Gerald Lefler, and her daughter, Terri Jean Allen, along with six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, a testament to her profound love and influence.

Her parents and daughters, Diane Lefler Dykes and Trudy Kaye Lefler Anderson preceded her in death.

A graveside service  will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Marion Cemetery, Marion Utah, beginning at 11:00 AM.
