Beatrice L. Bass, age 94, died at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, WY. on November 6, 2014. She was born on August 12, 1920, in Park City, UT.
B. loved to travel, go on cruises, play cards with her bridge club. She was instrumental in originating the ambulance crew in Evanston, and worked on the ambulance crew for eleven years. She was one of the three original people that started the ambulance crew in Evanston. B. also worked at the Wyoming State Hospital for eighteen years. She enjoyed fishing when she was younger.
She married Harry W. Bass, and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1989.
She is survived by her children, David (Inge) Fisher, of Evanston, WY.; Judi (Jerry) Butt, of Bountiful, UT.; Donald (Bonnie) Fisher, of Rock Springs, WY.; Bruce Bass, of Green River, WY.; Cathy Futrell, of Paducah, KY.; and Pete (Jill) Bass, of Evanston, WY. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, Mark Fisher, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Evanston South Stake Center, with Bishop Steve Baldwin officiating, with a viewing to be held one hour prior to funeral services. Graveside services and interment will be conducted on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Salt Lake Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
