Arthur Jacob Rufi passed away at his home in Evanston, Wyoming on Monday, June 29, 2015. He was born on July 2, 1947 in Coalville, Utah to Harvey and Mary (Rex) Rufi.
Arthur honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he met and married the love of his life, Beverly Hansen in December of 1970. He was a carpenter by trade and worked for the Wyoming State Hospital for many years. Arthur enjoyed woodworking, hunting, ice fishing, bull riding, and taxidermy.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Rufi; daughter Mandy Rufi; sister Kathy Ann Fiero and her husband Jon Fiero, and several loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Mary Rufi.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11 am at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to services. Inurnment will follow memorial services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
