Arlene Delores Arambula Chandler, 83, passed away on August 19, 2019 in Evanston.
She was born on January 18, 1936 in Canyon City Colorado to Ned and Lillian Josephine (Otero) Arambula.
She married Rex Ervin Chandler on October 29, 1955. Their marriage was solemnized in the Mesa Arizona Temple, January 20, 1968.
He preceded her in death on October 4, 2017.
Arlene enjoyed crochet, sewing, painting, collecting pine cones and doing crossword puzzles. She also joked that she liked to ride her broom. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the Relief Society and as a Young Women’s President. She and Rex served a mission at Martin’s Cove in Central Wyoming.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce Rex (Bonnie) Chandler; and Randall Kirt (Tracy) Chandler; and Sophie, her beloved poodle. She will also be missed by her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rex; a son, Wayne; her parents; and brothers: Ron and Darrell Arambula.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lyman L.D.S. Ward Chapel. Viewing will be at the church on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Lyman Cemetery.
