AnnaMae Kennedy Cornia was born September 19, 1936, in Ogden, Utah, to Mary Jackson and Wayne Joseph Kennedy. She passed away on August 25, 2013, at her home in Randolph, Utah.
She was proceeded in death by her mother; father; brother, Wayne J. Kennedy; and sister, JoeAnn Heap.
AnnaMae grew up in Randolph, Utah. She graduated from South Rich High School and married her sweetheart, John Owen Cornia on February 10, 1956. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple. They raised their family and resided in Randolph. She is survived by her husband, John and their six children: Lonie (Donna) Cornia - Randolph, Utah; Cathy (Alvin) McNeil - Marion, Utah; Kent (Jeannie) Cornia – Midland, Texas; Rodney (Joannie) Cornia - St. George, Utah; Jackie (Jimmy) O’Halloran - Salt Lake City, Utah; and Danny Cornia - Randolph, Utah; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
AnnaMae was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various callings. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She became an excellent cook through her years of cooking at the Deseret Livestock and 24 years as a cook for the Rich County School District. She loved dancing and playing card games. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves; Colorado Rockies; Utah Jazz and bull riding.
A viewing will be held Wednesday evening, August 28th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Randolph LDS Church and Thursday morning, August 29th from 10:30 – 11:30 am; funeral services at noon. Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
