Born in Pocatello Idaho 4/16/57, Left this world on 8/1/2021.

Anita was born Anita Searcy in Pocatello Idaho on April 16, 1957 to the parents of Loren “Slim” Searcy and Rose Mary Searcy. There one and only child.

Anita was an amazing woman. Every life she touched was positively affected. She gave more of herself then she ever took. She cared far more for others then she ever did for herself. She will leave a major hole in this world with her absence.

Anita lived many places in her live, but she made Evanston her forever home. Anita had many careers throughout her life, from being a food and beverage manager at Wyoming Downs to a Tax Specialist for 17 plus years.

Anita married Frank Nibarger Sr. and had two children, Frank Nibarger Jr., and Stephanie Nibarger (Dean). They later divorced. Later Anita married Dale Olson together they had one son Justin Olson. Dale and Anita later divorced. Anita married the love of her life in 1986, Melvin (Fuzzy) Makinen, and together had a son, Jeramie Makinen. Family and her children were her everything.

Anita is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Rhoda Hughes, Father, Loren “Slim” Searcy, Granddaughter, Kirsten Dean and Great Grandson, Jaxton Dean.

Anita is survived by her Mother, Rose Mary Searcy; her Husband, Melvin (Fuzzy) Makinen of Evanston; Son, Frank Nibarger Jr. of Florida; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Stephanie and Christopher Dean; Son, Justin Olson and Son, Jeramie Makinen all of Evanston. 21 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and many more extended family members.

A viewing will be held on Sunday August 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm and from Noon to 1pm August 9, 2021 at Crandall Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday August 9, 2021 at 1pm at Crandall Funeral Home 800 Uinta Street, Evanston Wyoming. A light luncheon will be held at the Bear River State Park following the graveside services.
