Amy J. Meeks

Amy Jeane Meeks, age 41, passed away on January 22, 2015 at her home in Mountain View, WY.  She was born on March 24, 1973 in Evanston, Wyoming, the daughter of Joe Eugene and Luella June (Evans) Meeks.
Amy gave birth to a daughter, Adaria June Meeks.  She loved spending time with Adaria, and she expressed great gratitude for people who helped her.  She had a lot of friends.  Amy loved animals of all kinds, and she was there for all of her friends when they needed her. She taught Adaria to draw, and she enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and she loved the soda, Squirt.  She also loved to cook.  She was a practical joker, and loved to tell a good joke.
Amy was Fort Bridger Rodeo queen in 1990.  She also won grand champion at the Uinta County Fair with her lamb.  She enjoyed being in the outdoors.  She enjoyed taking her daughter on drives, and would always tease her about her being short.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Mountain View L.D.S. Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. at the Mountain View L.D.S. Chapel.  Interment will follow services at the Millburne Cemetery, Millburne, WY.
Amy is survived by her daughter, Adaria June Meeks, of Mt. View, WY.; and brothers, Steven (Sandra) Kennah, of Urie, WY.; Victor  (Janice) of Fort Brigder, WY.; Ross (Anne) Meeks, of Mt. View, WY.; Scott Meeks, of  Diamondville, WY. ; and a sister, Vicki Van Alstine, of MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
