Amelia Kelson

September 14, 1924 — October 14, 2013

Amelia Esparza Kelson, 89, passed away in Evanston, Wyoming on Monday, October 14, 2013.  She was born September 14, 1924 to Urbano and Guadalupe Esparza.  She married Rex Don Kelson in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962.

Amelia enjoyed crocheting, sewing, doll making, music, and dancing.  She had a green thumb and loved plants.  Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family, and especially her grandkids.  She had a big heart and was always concerned about the welfare of others.  She will be dearly missed.

Amelia is survived by her son; David Reyes of Meridian, Idaho, and Rey Reyes of Collierville, Tennessee.  She is also survived by her daughter, Gloria Orton of Evanston, Wyoming, and five grandchildren; Jennifer Wilson, Rex Gil, Rosemary Simkins, Oleg Reyes, and Russ Reyes.  She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; Isabelle Myia Wilson, Deakin Rex Shay Wilson, Kelton Eugene Simkins, and Madilyn Jenniey Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and Rosaline Gil.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.

Burial will take place on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.
