Allen Griffith Palmer, passed away on January 26, 2025, at Holy Cross Hospital in Layton, Utah. He was born on October 13, 1941, in Los Angeles, California to Allen Fairfield and Genadel Murphy Griffith Palmer. On July 7, 1967, he married Eunice Munoz in Las Vegas, Nevada
For 34 years, Allen served as a teacher at Bell High School, inspiring and guiding young minds with his unwavering commitment to education. He was an exceptional coach, leading both the varsity football and baseball teams. He was honored as Coach of the Year in 1975. He also spent time coaching college football at Rio Hondo College in California.
Allen is survived by his wife, Eunice Munoz Palmer, and their son, Blake Allen (Stevie) Palmer. He also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Willow, and Kamden Palmer, who were a source of immense joy in his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen Fairfield Palmer and Genadel Palmer. He will be remembered for his profound impact on his family, his students, and the many athletes he coached throughout the years. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 26, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Palmer residence.
