Ann Lucy Covolo, 91, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Rocky Mountain Skilled Nursing Center in Evanston, where she had been a patient since July 28, 2021.
Ann was born on February 21, 1932, in Hamsfork to Beatrice and Marcello Odorizzi. She attended school in Kemmerer and worked for the State Hospital in Evanston.
Ann lived most of her life in the Bridger Valley area. She married Albert S. Covolo in Evanston on March 6, 1950, and they enjoyed 57 years together before his passing.
Ann was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church and the CCW, and she devoted much of her time to service work there.
She loved playing games, socializing, and traveling with seniors at the Mountain View Senior Center.
She was a loving caring mother and friend to all and helped whomever and whenever she could. She will be missed so much by so many.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Raymond and Arthur Odorizzi & sister Mildred Unterman.
Ann is survived by her son Albert L. Covolo, Jr., her daughters: Dianne Covolo (Arnold McQueary), Nancy (Rodger) Aplanalp, Grandson Jason Aplanalp, brother-in-law Bruno Covolo, numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be said at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger at 11:0 am, Monday, April 10, 2023, followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
